Sensei Richard Triplett began his martial arts training
at the age of 13. He trained locally in Lancaster for over three years,
before discovering Shihan Gordon Doversola, grand master of the mysterious
Okinawa-Te system that was only hinted at in the dojo where Sensei trained.
30 years later, Sensei still trains with Shihan Doversola, continuing
to improve on the base of skills that he has built and adding new.
Here are some of Sensei Richard Triplett’s
accomplishments
• 1989-1990 NASKA and was rated in the top 10
• 1989 Tournament Promoters Association Teacher of the Year Award
• 1991 Outstanding Referee Award
• 1995 World Karate Organization Champion
• 1998 Dojo of the Year Award presented by Stan Witz.
